Not FREE for FREE TRIAL

I create a new account with new card to try the games for 30 days...it says Free Trial...so I did. I got debited $9.95!?!? I need it refunded and cancelled. I don't want to try your FREE TRIAL then. Plus it's so hard to contact customer service...I've been trying to find answers as to why...for more than an hour now. This is ridiculous! If I've known it'll be this hard to do a FREE TRIAL...I wouldn't bother!

I saw a thread from a site that I go to on a regular basis advertising a Gamefly used game sale last week. I wanted to purchase Uncharted 4 at a cheap price. (So I went on the Gamefly site being the first time that I purchased anything from the site). The game was on sale for $25 used so I placed the order. The funny thing is I didn't receive any tracking information but I got a order confirmation [I assumed tracking information would be email to me later]. Here it is 8 days later and I haven't received anything in the mail from Gamefly. I spoke to two reps online and they both told me to wait 7 MORE DAYS!!! I told the second rep that I just want a full refund and they were still insisting that I wait another 7 days. I told her I don't want the game anymore. At this point, I'm going to purchase the game somewhere else and if it does "show" up it will get sent back to Gamefly with a refund request.

They should definitely start using a more reliable method of shipping with a tracking number. They might be too cheap for that.

Try calling and speaking to a rep rather than using the chat. I had to go through the same thing today (ordered Doom on the 31st and 8 days later, still nothing) and I called support and they gave me a refund right away.

So maybe give that a shot.

I feel your pain though, I was really looking forward to playing Doom. =/

Gamefly is a joke they take their money and say they sent the game. Well if thats the case how did they send two copies of the same game and i never recieved one copy but they sure took there money... Not worth it rip off conartist company... Dont waste your time or money.

I subscribed to GameFly years ago and recently started up again after getting a new console. And I was extremely disappointed.

First off, they don't have a lot of selection for newer consoles, and most of the games they do have for them are all low or medium availability. I had one game in my Q from the start that said medium availability but a month later when I canceled my subscription, I still had never gotten a chance to play it. Another game arrived unplayable. I returned almost all of my games at the exact same time, yet GF did not ship out the next batch for days.

I'm glad I got a promo deal and didn't pay full price. Definitely not worth any of the prices they charge.

Every time I sent a game back to GameFly it took a minimum of five days for them to say that they received it. One time I contacted them because it had been over 7 days.

I just cancelled last week, they of course told me send back the games, and *somehow*, miracle of miracles, after I had cancelled and they were no longer obligated to send me anything else, they reported receiving my games within 2 days. Interesting. You know, there was a class action against Netflix years ago, back when they were mainly a DVD service, regarding shipping practices. As a result, they altered their terms of service to note that people who sent items back more frequently were given less priority on new shipments than infrequent renters.

Which is fine (I guess) but I was hardly a "frequent renter" at GameFly, it took me at least two weeks to finish any game. I hate to cast these kinds of aspersions, but the circumstances are too suspicious to ignore.

Also, the free trial verbiage is intentionally deceptive in an unoriginal way. They told me I had to cancel "by April 17" so on April 17 I go to cancel and they say it's too late, I was being charged starting that day.

This is a common trick companies use.

Everyone knows that "by the 17th" means you can cancel as late as the 17th otherwise it would be "before the 17th" or "by the 16th." I ended up staying on for a couple of months anyway, despite myself, which of course led to the observations made in my first paragraph. Terrible company, reminded me why I hadn't used them in a decade.

I signed up with gamefly and its been 2 weeks but I never received a game. They can't track the game shipment because they say that they want this service to be cost effective so they don't have tracking options. Go use some other service. They are ***. They dont have availability of new games either. Its endless waiting and they never forget to charge your credit card on time even though their service is so poor. My friends had similar experiences. One of my friend's account was charged even during the trial period.

GameFly steals money and doesn't provide you with a game either.

PS: It was my first game and that never came to me.

Also, you can only complain about missing game after 7 days. Then complain about missing game again after 7 days because it will never reach you.

Terrible service

Got a game that was unplayable, and asked for new one. A week later it came. I played for a day, mailed it back, and they said they never got it. After I reported it they did nothing... and in their mail said I should take it up with the Post Office. Eventually I had to cancel the service, huge waste, probably getting double billed. I have no idea how they think they can run a business like that. I have had Netflix for years and when they couldnt find a disc I mailed back they immediately mailed another one. Crazy bad service from Game Fly and I will not be back. Ever.

This place is so slow. I have taken a liken to gaming with the kids and wife on the weekend. Unfortunately when I rent a game turn around time is at least a week. AT LEAST! First game stated it shipped out on a Wednesday we didn't receive the game until the following Wednesday come to find out Paper Mario isn't that fun so we sent it back immediately. So Thursday (the following day) the game was sent back. I checked our account that following Monday to check on the status to see if we would have our game to play by the weekend and the game said it was shipping out that very day. So I thought to myself that weird it took a week the first time to get to us but took half that to get back to them? hmm.. So we waited.... Never seen the game.. Even the following Monday (a week later) the game never showed... It wasn't until the following Wednesday that we received the game??? I hate to say it but my experience with gamefly has been horrible. The idea is great but shipping times suck. in 3 weeks I have received 2 games and in those 3 weeks I had one game for a day and sent it back. Would not recommend game fly.

i decided to give gamefly a chance ignoring the bad reviews, tried to order a game, supposely shipped on monday... no game after 4 days.

customer service decided to tell me to wait or cancel.

GAMEFLIP - BEST SCAMMER SITE EVER?

So - I've made new account there and i wanted to sell some keys/games - i saw many people sold there item. And yes many transaction was successfully completed. But after i sold some keys i didnt received feedback by buyers (and i sent these keys), without feedback i didnt got money, but ok i sold more keys. Now my account was banned without reason, even if games are still in store or keys. I can't get money to paypal or i can't buy nothing. Suport dont answer my question. Ps. I didnt used bonus credits (reff links etc). I just got 2$ at start like all, and i didnt made multiaccounts. Sorry for bad english but im really angry for this website - i wait 2 days for answer from support.
